Anyway, in honor of the fifth day of the third month, here are three sentences from page five of Slave Again.
***
Do it now, or you’ll never have the courage, you coward. Mee-Kyong wished Pang wasn’t asleep, but it had to be this way. If he was awake, she wouldn’t carry through.

So what do you think she's about to do? Leave your guesses in the comments if you want.
Free Giveaways (everyone wins!): This is by far the biggest giveaway this blog has seen, so please check it out! Giveaway is now live at http://alanaterry.blogspot.com/2013/07/giveaway-time.html. Good luck!
Blog Love: Huge thanks to K L Schwengel for hosting the WIPpet Wednesday blog hop, where authors post snippets from the current Works In Progress.
Random Fact: I need to put a box underneath my desk so my feet will touch the "ground."
She's about to ... leave? That's my guess.
ReplyDeleteYour book trailer is simply brilliant! I'm so impressed!
Ooh - giveaways are lots of fun! Skipping over there right now ...
Thanks Xina, good luck on the giveaway! I think they're fun too. :)
DeleteThat book trailer is awesome. One of the best I've seen.
ReplyDeleteYou are so skimpy on your WIPpets!!!! *grrr* Hmm...what is she going to do? Have we met Pang before? Given the dripping knife in the trailer...is she going to kill him?
skimpy? SKIMPY? Come on... have you SEEN me in a bathing suit this season?
DeleteHehe, just kidding. I don't know - we've gotten so many more WIPpeters to check in on every week -- isn't skimpy good?
Great trailer! Not sure I'm going to be able to read this one... sounds intense. Good, but... Oh, who am I kidding? I'll try. :)
ReplyDeleteI think she's going to... kill him. Yep, that's my guess.
I can neither confirm nor deny...
DeleteThis sounds ominous Alana. Is she about to hurt him a little bit to get away?
ReplyDeleteGood guess, Elaine!
DeleteSounds like she's escaping, maybe killing/hurting him in the process?
ReplyDeleteLoved the book trailer.
You got it, Amy! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteDun dun duuuunnn!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved the book trailer - amazing! So excited I got to read the first chapter, can't wait to read the whole thing. Well done Alana!
ReplyDeleteExcellent book trailer, Alana. Though the perfectly clean skin on the legs of the person running through the woods didn't quite ring true to me. Or the well hemmed jeans of the log-walker. The rest? Intense.
ReplyDeleteShort lines, but a strong sense of impending action.
Really nice book trailer. The company did their name and your book justice.
ReplyDeleteI want to guess what she's going to do, but I'm too afraid of being wrong. I plead the 5th! Does that work?
Great trailer, and really intense snippet there!
